The baddest of them all. Damn this is good icecream, sorbet, i even tried a vegan raspberry scoop made with oat milk and it’s 10/10 as well. Waffle cones slap. Just tried the sugar cone and its 10/10 as well. PLEASE @Brown Butter make an option for chocolate coated sugar cone where the inside is coated and it builds up a little at the bottom of the cone 🙏

I really had high hopes about visiting this place when my husband arrived, they wouldn’t allow him to purchase scoopable gelato instead referred him to already frozen packaged gelato that they had in a separate freezer when we got the ice cream home I was so excited, however, it just didn’t taste great it had like a waxy taste. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t try them again But they wouldn’t be my first choice nine dollars for half a pint is a bit steep not to mentionThe flavor was mid! so disappointed really wanted to like it.

Brown & Butter Creamery has some of the best gelato I’ve had in the area. One piece of constructive feedback relates to the owner’s interactions with customers. Over several visits, I noticed instances where customers of color greeted her and received little or no response, while white customers were met with noticeably warmer and more engaged conversation shortly afterward. I didn’t think much of it at first, but after hearing others share similar observations, it became difficult to ignore. Despite the concern, I would still recommend Brown & Butter Creamery for the excellent gelato alone. If you’re in the neighborhood, I also highly recommend visiting Brown & Butter Café. They serve great food and drinks and have become a local favorite for good reason. My hope is simply that every customer feels equally welcomed and valued. Otherwise, their flavors are creative, the quality is consistently high, and the shop is always clean and well maintained.

Had this place saved on my “want to go” and so happy I finally did! The service was really great. They had a Cape Verdean flavor which made so excited and it was so delicious. Also the vegan flavors were delicious as well. Two scoops were about six dollars, which is a really great price!
